What’s New?
Mesotherapy!
Cellulite and fatty deposits plague millions of Americans. The good news is that Mesotherapy can help. Mesotherapy is a procedure that was developed in France in 1952. This treatment involves a series of microinjections into the mesoderm, the skin’s middle layer. Mesotherapy melts the fat in the skin. It also breaks up the connective tissue fibers that form, trapping fat cells and resulting in cellulite. A combination of FDA-Approved medications and supplements (vitamins and amino acids) are customized to the individual’s problem areas. Also, the type and volume of fat that is to be dissolved is considered. In addition, Mesotherapy improves circulation and lymphatic and venous drainage.
When the fat is released from the cells, the body will naturally metabolize it. Mesotherapy can be used for fat dissolution and body contouring in the abdomen, “love handles”, thighs, knees, buttocks, upper arms and back (“bra fat”). Mesotherapy is a non-surgical procedure that does not require general anesthesia or recovery time. With Mesotherapy you may return to work immediately after the treatment. There are no garments or bandages to wear. Discomfort after the treatment is minimal, if any, and may be treated with Tylenol. The most common side effects are bruising, which usually only lasts a few days.
Mesotherapy sessions range from $300 to $700 per treatment for each area being treated. Each treatment session lasts 30-60 minutes. Results are seen in as little as 3-4 sessions depending on your body type and how it responds to treatments. The number of treatments needed is related to body type. The results of Mesotherapy are permanent and measurable. So those little bulges or pockets of fat that have been difficult to shed, can now be distant memories.
